The Flordaglo Peach (Prunus persica ‘Flordaglo’) is a top-rated low-chill peach tree designed for warm climates, subtropical regions, and mild-winter areas. This early-ripening peach variety produces juicy, sweet, firm yellow peaches with a light red blush, making it perfect for fresh eating, baking, canning, and homemade preserves. Known for its reliable production, heat tolerance, and excellent fruit quality, Flordaglo is a leading choice for home orchards, backyard growers, edible landscapes, and small commercial farms throughout the Southeast and Gulf Coast.

This vigorous, upright-rounded peach tree bursts with fragrant spring blossoms before setting consistent crops of high-quality fruit. With a low chill requirement of 150–200 chill hours, Flordaglo performs exceptionally well in Florida, Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi, Louisiana, Texas, and other warm-temperate zones, offering dependable yields even in mild winters. Its disease resistance, fast growth, and minimal maintenance needs make it a standout for gardeners seeking an easy-to-grow, early-season peach tree.

Fertilization Do not fertilize at planting. Once the trees are established, fertilize in early spring (Mar-April) as growth begins. Do not fertilize in the fall, which could promote late season tender growth that can be damaged by early frosts.
Watering Newly planted trees should be watered regularly. This is the most critical step in the establishment of your new trees. Please see the Watering section under "How to plant and grow" in our Learning Center.
