Tulip poplar provides pollination for your local habitat. Animals also use Tulip Poplar for many forms of nutrition. Hummingbirds feed on nectar provided by the spring flowers. Tulip Poplar seeds, mature in summer and persist into the winter. These seeds provide food for both birds and mammals, including deer, finches, cardinals, quail, mice, red squirrels, gray squirrels and rabbits.

Soil | The tulip poplar grows well in acidic, loamy, moist, sandy, well-drained and clay soils. It prefers normal moisture but can tolerate drought in humid regions. |
