The Bartlett Pear Tree, also known as the Williams Pear in Europe, is the world’s most popular pear variety. This European pear is cherished for its sweet, juicy flavor and versatility.
Introduced to the U.S. in the 1790s by Enoch Bartlett of Massachusetts, this beloved fruit quickly gained popularity, taking on his name in America. Bartlett pear trees boast fluffy white blossoms in early to mid-spring, adding beauty to any landscape. The pears start green on the tree, gradually ripening to a warm, golden yellow with hints of red. Bartlett pears are famous for their sweet taste, fragrant aroma, and classic pear shape.

Watering | Newly planted trees should be watered regularly. This is the most critical step in the establishment of your new trees. Please see the Watering section under "How to plant and grow" in our Learning Center. |
