Fruit Trees for the South

Fruit trees for the South must be carefully selected for low chill requirements and long-term performance in warm southern climates. Chill hours are the cumulative number of winter hours below 45°F that fruit trees require to properly break dormancy, flower, and produce fruit. Many national nurseries and big-box stores sell fruit trees to southern states that are not low-chill fruit varieties and will never receive enough chill hours to fruit reliably in the South. We specialize in low chill fruit trees bred and adapted specifically for southern growing conditions and graft them onto proven rootstocks selected for southern soils, disease resistance, heat tolerance, and consistent fruit production across the Southeast.
